Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Welcome to Let's. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Siyanda Mavundla, a sole operator based in South Africa ("we", "us"), who operates the Let's app ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Please read the safety section carefully. Let's helps people arrange to meet in the real world. Meeting people you do not know carries risk, and you are responsible for your own safety. Please read Section 5 in full.

1. Who can use Let's

You must be at least 18 years old to use Let's. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

3. What Let's is

Let's lets you broadcast an activity ("Let's hike", "Let's watch a movie") to people nearby, join activities others have posted, and chat in groups or privately to arrange plans. Group chats are temporary and are removed when the activity ends.

4. How you agree to behave

You agree not to use Let's to:

We provide tools to report and block other users. We may remove content, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.

5. Meeting people in person — your safety and responsibility

Let's connects you with people you do not know, so that you can choose to meet them in the real world. You do this entirely at your own risk.

We do not verify the identity, background, or criminal history of any user. We do not conduct background checks. We are not involved in and are not responsible for any interaction or meeting that takes place between users, whether online or in person.

When you choose to meet someone, we strongly encourage you to:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, and that Siyanda Mavundla and Let's are not liable for the conduct of any user or for any loss, injury, harm, or damage arising from your use of the app or from any meeting arranged through it.

6. Content you post

You keep ownership of the content you post (your photos, messages, and activity posts). By posting it, you give us permission to store and display it within the app so that it can be shown to the users it is meant for. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

7. Third-party content

The app displays information from third parties, including movie data from TMDB and event listings from Ticketmaster. We do not control this information and are not responsible for its accuracy. Any events, films, or venues shown are organised by third parties, not by us.

8. The app is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Let's running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will connect you with any particular person or activity. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Siyanda Mavundla and Let's will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of the app, your interactions with other users, or any meeting arranged through the app.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using Let's and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the app in a way that harms others or the service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "last updated" date and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Let's after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
